LX Neo, with cascara sagrada and rhubarb, activates the peristalsis of the intestinal mucosa and reinforces the supply of water and electrolytes to the large intestine, promoting a laxative effect. 

Cascara sagrada is a medicinal plant traditionally used as a short-term laxative (in cases of occasional constipation). Its action lies in its ability to modify its structure in the large intestine by breaking down molecules and the action of the intestinal flora in the area. This metabolic action promotes an increase in peristaltic movement (typical of the gut) and greater secretion of water and electrolytes from the mucosa to the outside, encouraging evacuation.

Rhubarb is an edible plant also used for medicinal purposes for its stimulating and digestive effect. It is mainly used in the treatment of constipation, as it contains sennosides which produce a laxative effect.
