Orthosiphon, also known as "Java tea", is a herbaceous shrub of the labiatae family, native to northern Oceania and Southeast Asia. Its bluish-white flowers, whose filamentous stamens resemble the whiskers of a cat, stand out. It contains, among other substances, mineral salts (mainly potassium), flavonoids (such as sinensetin), flavonoid heterosides, caffeic acid and diterpenes.
Orthosiphon has traditionally been used as a diuretic and mild spasmolytic (causing increased elimination of water, sodium chloride and urea), in urinary disorders of an inflammatory nature, for urinary tract lavage therapies and as an adjuvant in mild bacterial urinary tract infections (inhibiting the growth of various micro-organisms).

Dry extract of orthosiphon leaves (Orthosiphon stamineus Benth) standardised to 0.2% sinensetin 200 mg, bulking agent (cellulose), vegetable wrapper (pululan), carrier (shellac), sweetener (xylitol).
Take 1 or 2 capsules a day, with a glass of water.
Food supplements should not be used as a substitute for a balanced diet. Do not exceed the recommended daily dose. Keep container in a cool, dry place out of reach of children. Contains sweetener. Excessive consumption may cause laxative effects.
Not recommended for use in case of renal or cardiac insufficiency.
Pregnancy and lactation: not reported.
