Sage is an aromatic shrub plant of the Lamiaceae family. Its name, which has a Roman origin, refers to the capacity of this herb to cure many diseases. The active part of this plant are the leaves, which contain essential oils that consist mainly of alpha and beta-thujone, camphor and cinneol, tannins, rosmarinic acid, flavonoids, diterpenes and triterpenes.
Traditionally, sage has been used as:
Mucosa infections and inflammations.
Excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis)
Female hormonal imbalances (menopause and dysmenorrhea).
Sage (Salvia officinalis L.) leaves dry extract, standardized to 6% polyphenols: 200 mg.
1 or 2 capsules daily, with a glass of water.
It is recommended to take it in a discontinuous way.
Pregnancy and breast-feeding: It is not recommended to take.
